This series of objects represents an approach to the Alpine theme through everyday items. The principle of collage enables a new perception of these. Comprising three individual objects, the series poses the question of how our relationship to everyday household items has changed over time. How do feelings of appreciation for quotidian objects produced in the past through laborious manual skill compare to those for today’s easily acquired objects of mass production?
